ABSTRACT
Methotrexate is used in the treatment of psoriasis. Although, weekly low doses used in psoriasis, in the presence of renal deficiency, folic acid deficiency, elderly age or accidently use of high doses, methotrexate toxicity can be seen. Here we report a 48-year-old woman with metotrexate intoxication who used methotrexate tablets for her plantar lesions on recommendation by pharmacist. İnterstingly; because of she had discontinued medication before applied to our clinic, her clinical symptoms are mild and we treated her only folic acid. By presenting the case we also want to emphasize that drugs which should be used with precautions should not be sold without prescription.
